Wavy Hair
Learn how to use hot rollers to achieve gorgeous wavy hair: Do you have great hair? Submit a photo here. Materials needed: - Hair spray
- Hot rollers
- Optional: Hair flower
- Optional: Hair clips
- Optional: Wavy clip-in hair extensions - to add length, volume and shine to your hair.
Hair Preparation: Wash hair and blow dry straight using a paddle or round brush. Step #1 Make sure your hot rollers are hot. Take your hot rollers and start wrapping hair around the roller at the roots of the hair. Do not start wrapping the ends of the hair around the roller first. Wrap hair from roots to the ends last. Use larger rollers at the bottom of head and use smaller rollers at the crown. By doing this, you are creating wave and lift at the roots of your hair and preventing a tight curl on the ends of your hair.

Tips: - As you're putting the rollers in your hair, spray each section of hair with hairspray or a setting spray before you wrap the hair around the roller . If you have hair that does not take curl well, you will need hairspray.
- If you're having problems keeping the ends of the hair wrapped around the roller, put a clip on the roller instead of the hair pin. It will hold all of the hair on the roller better.
- As you wrap the hair around the roller, some shorter, layered pieces of your hair may stick out. It is important to make sure that the ends are wrapped around the roller and tied in to avoid uneven curls. You may even have to hair spray the stray hairs to keep them in the roller.
Step #2 Continue to wrap 1 ½ sections of hair around the rollers until your entire head is rolled. Step #3 Wait until the rollers are completely cool before you remove them. Step #4 Take out the rollers. Your curls should look like this:

Step #5 Take your hands and lightly put your fingers through the hair.
