Twist Hairstyle
This twist hairstyle is easy to do and is quite original. It is a great style for thick hair and works on both curly and straight locks. Do you have great hair? Submit a photo here.. Materials Needed
Step #1 Pull all of your hair into a low ponytail at the back of your head.
Step #2 Separate out a small section of hair about 1/4 inch thick. Using the thumb and index finger of both hands, begin to twist this section tightly until it begins to coil up upon itself. Let this hair continue to coil up upon itself close to the head, and then bobby-pin the twisted hair in place next to your scalp. Here are pictures of the process:     Step #3 Continue to separate out 1/4 inch sections of hair and twist until all hair is coiled and bobby-pinned in place. Work your way around the entire "face" of the ponytail so that the coils come out in all directions and cover the ponytail elastic in the center.    Sometimes if the hair is too thick or heavy, a couple of bobby pins may not hold the coil in place. You have a couple of options: Either take some hair out of this section to make the twist smaller, or twist half way down the length of the hair, bobby-pin in the middle and then twist the second half of the hair and bobby-pin that half in place. Here are pictures showing this:   Step #4 Continue to twist and pin until you run out of hair. Mist with hairspray for all day hold.
